Did you know?!

In the last 40 years alone, half of the world’s rain forest has been destroyed and contrary to headlines, it continues to be lost at an increasing rate than ever.  There needs to be a worldwide effort to turn this devastation around.

Cool Earth is the charity that works alongside indigenous villages to halt rain forest destruction |  http://www.coolearth.org

In an effort to raise money to support this charity, part of the London Grow team will be embarking on an incredibly dangerous journey across 3,500km between Jaisalmer and Cochin, along the wild-west coast of India.

But, to ensure we don’t go unrecognized in our efforts to raise money we have decided to ‘pimp’ our Rickshaw.  Drawing inspiration from the ever-popular TV show Rick and Morty, the Rickshaw will be themed in the style of one of the shows most infamous characters…… Pickle Rick!

If you think Rick and Morty have some wild adventures you haven’t seen anything yet. Low and behold…..  ‘Rickshaw and Morty – The Indian adventure begins’.

The intended journey will be made using nothing more than a Rickshaw, single ply formula one tyres, some bravery, common sense and large serving of luck…. loads of it!

There is a very real chance one of us will get injured or even die as a result of embarking on this treacherous journey.   Some not so lucky individuals who have taken part in the past have been permanently disfigured, seriously disabled or lost their life.

These are not holidays. These are adventures and so by their very nature extremely ‘Ricksy’… !

There is no amount of meticulous planning that will make this journey safe.   The team will literally be at the mercy of mother nature; negotiating elephants, Delhi belly, Indian driving etiquette and many a dingy hotel.

Please dig deep and help support the team by donating as little or as much as you can!
