The unit uses CDM (ceramic-discharge metal halide) bulbs, which deliver a broader spectrum than other HID bulbs such as HPS or MH lights. The unit's output is similar to LEP (light emitting plasma) units. LEPs deliver a broader light spectrum compared to CDM fixtures. The unit's output levels are adjustable and range between 165W and 380W. The 7 settings allow growers to customize the lighting to their plants according to the grow room's environmental conditions. The unit is made for use during the vegetative and the blooming stages. Thanks to the increased levels of white/ blue light, the internodes stay tight. The unit uses innovative technology, which ensures the highest light transmission of up to 99%. The reflector's efficiency is 97%. The closed air-cooling system significantly lowers the temperature in the grow room.
How to Use
Place the unit over the grow room's centre using a jack chain. Connect the lead from the unit to the power mains and turn on the unit. The Dimlux fixture is made for use with the Maxi Controller, which allows growers to connect and control 160 fixtures from a central point. Avoid touching the bulb as it runs hot. Avoid using liquids and sprays close to the fixture as they may cause failure or fires. On the first illumination, run the bulb for 15 minutes so the metals in the lamp can fuse properly. Carefully follow the manufacturer's instructions to maintain the validity of the warranty.
