The Hunter Hydrawise X2 Controller is a versatile, next-generation irrigation controller designed for homeowners and light commercial landscapes that need modern water-saving features paired with traditional, reliable hardware. Out of the box, the X2 operates as a powerful, easy-to-use irrigation controller—yet it can be instantly upgraded to full smart control simply by adding a WAND Wi-Fi Module, unlocking the capabilities of the Hydrawise cloud platform.
With 4, 6, 8 and 14 station models available, the X2 provides flexible zone control and intuitive dial-based programming familiar to Pro-C and X-Core users. When upgraded with Hydrawise, the controller gains remote access from any smartphone, tablet, or computer, enabling quick schedule updates, system monitoring, and contractor-friendly service alerts.
Hydrawise’s predictive watering technology adjusts runtimes based on rainfall, temperature, humidity, and wind forecasts, helping reduce water waste while maintaining healthy landscapes. The X2 also supports advanced features such as flow monitoring (with optional sensors), station-level cycle and soak, and a built-in QuickCheck™ system for wire fault detection.
