Overview
The Nutriculture IWS Dripper System comprises an innovative technology and uses drippers to deliver nutrients to your crops. Growers use the system with coco and clay pebbles. You can choose between a 4 to 24 pot configuration depending on the size of your project. The system integrates a precise timer for irrigation control. The DIG Dripper technology allows you to operate the drippers from a central unit. You'll achieve an even distribution of the nutrients to each pot. The pots ensure enough root space for top-quality plant development. Growers enjoy the efficiency and high-performance of the Nutriculture IWS Drippers.
General Information
- The system is made for use with clay pebbles or coco;
- The system comprises from 4 up to 24 pots;
- It includes DIG drippers technology to allow centralised irrigation control;
- The system is available in different sizes.
Benefits
- The system ensures an even distribution of the nutrient solution;
- Helps growers achieve increased harvest yields and top-quality crops;
- Made at the highest standards of quality.
The Science
The system is designed around the flood and drain system technology but uses drippers to supply nutrients to each pot. The pots are linked to a 25 litre controller through flexible tubing. The waste nutrient solution runs through the supply tube and collects into the Controller, which pumps the solution into the waste tank or into a drain. You can also recirculate the waste nutrient solution into the reservoir. The integrated timer allows you to achieve accurate control over the irrigation. And the DIG dripper technology allows you to run the drippers from a centralised unit.
How to Use
Fill your reservoir with water, add the nutrient solution and adjust the pH between 5.5 and 6.5. Turn the timer on and start the feed cycle. Set the dial for the longest feed duration. The growing media will absorb the nutrient solution, which will flow through the medium and return to the waste container. You can set the feeding frequency depending on the grow media, the size of your plants, and the environmental conditions. Because the system empties through a pipe, the roots can cause blockages. You can avoid blockages through copper root control disks and turn the inner pots every 2 or 3 days. The roots will stay away from the pipe.
