The Science

The OC system comprises a rectangular carbon filter panel, which is placed over the air intake unit to reduce the level of unpleasant odours and particles. The filter must be replaced every 8 weeks to ensure optimum operation of the closed loop climate system. The pack of 3 carbon filters is made to ensure continuous use of the unit for 24 weeks.

The filtering system isn't made to be the only method of odour control in the grow room. London Grow recommends that you use a small carbon filter and a duct fan together with the OC to ensure a negative pressure and to deal with unpleasant and unwanted odours.

How to Use

It's easy to install and replace the carbon filter. Turn the OC unit off at the mains outlet. Slide out the unit's covering panel, which is at the back of the OC unit. Remove the old filter and dispose of it. Insert the new OC carbon filter.
