Overview
The Opticlimate Plenumbox is a strong insulated case, which you can install at the back of the Opticlimate (OC) closed loop system. The Plenumbox allows you to install the OC outside the grow room and with a 3-way valve you can split the capability of the OC climate system into 2 separate grow rooms. The Plenumbox is delivered with 4 pre-cut holes. Only attach the right flange size to secure the ducting where it's needed. The Plenumbox is part of the Opticlimate spares range and helps you optimise your climate system to suit the needs of your grow room.

The Science
You can use any form of ducting with OCs. London Grow recommends using a combi-ducting. It's stronger than traditional aluminium ducting and can handle humidity better compared to acoustic ducting.
How to Use
The Plenumbox hooks on to the back of the OC over the filter. Before attaching the Plenumbox to the OC, cut the right holes out of the pre-perforated metal of the Plenumbox with the wire cutters. Attach your flange with Tek screws. After installing the Plenumbox onto the OC, secure it with duct clips. It's how you can install the OC outside of the grow room. If you want to use the OC in 2 rooms, you must use an OC 3 Way Valve. It attaches to the front side of the OC and diverts the air into the two rooms. Although it's a perfect and low cost option to maintain the right temperature in the 2 rooms using 2 OC, it removes several functionalities such as de-humidification and pre-cooling.
